INGREDIENTS
For the Cake
• 125g butter
• 1 1/2 cups of sugar
• 1/4 cup of milk
• Grated zest of 1 orange
• 3 eggs
• 1 1/2 cups of Cake flour
• 1 tablespoon of baking powder
• 2 teaspoons of salt
• 1/2 a cup of orange juice
Icing
• 1/3 cup of softened butter
• 1 1/2 cup of icing sugar
• 3 tablespoons fresh orange orange juice
• 3 teaspoons of grated orange zest
INSTRUCTIONS
• Preheat oven to 180
• Mix butter and sugar until light and creamy
• Add eggs one by one
• Sift in flour,baking powder and salt,adding little by little to the egg mix
• Add the milk
• Add orange juice
• Mix lightly and put mixture into a baking tray.
• Bake for 30-35 minutes
• For the icing mix all ingredients and add additional icing sugar for thicker texture.
